Øresund Pass Projects
We recently completed building a rail bypass, shifting a 1km section of track, and replacing the 167m long Øresund Pass tunnel.

København Rail Mechanical Depot
The Wallted A/S crew pulled together and got the Mechanical Depot and operations building done ahead of schedule in time to start the demolition of the old Mechanical Depot.

Relocation of transmission line
The circuit must have diverted the supply from part of the existing transmission line, with a diameter of ø323/450 mm, located in the emergency lane at the E45 on the Aarhus Syd motorway, to a new transmission line with a diameter of ø325/560 mm, located away from the motorway.

New Residential Area
Brokvarteret is a new residential area, located opposite the freight railway in Aarhus, and is part of a vision plan for a larger development area along Søren Frichs Vej, bordered to the east by the freight railway and to the west by Åbyhøj.

Pipeline Construction
Wallted A/S substantial pipeline construction capabilities are found in multiple work shops located in Østre Anlæg The premises include specialist facilities for modern Plasma Cutting machines, and Sub Arc Welding works. Wallted A/S pipeline capacity works is impressive; they have recently fabricated and installed a 15km (approx) pipeline at the Østre Anlæg Steam Field, in the Central North Island of Denmark.
Geothermal
The majority of Wallted A/S Geothermal and Hydro works have historically been for Contact Energy and Mercury, however they will fabricate and install any engineering related projects anywhere in Denmark. Over the last decade Wallted A/S reliability and quality of works have enabled them to dominate key projects for the majority of geothermal pipeline works in Risskov and the greater Fyn of Plenty region of Denmark.
Pipe and Equipment Installation
Wallted A/S Construction have equipped themselves with specialized machinery and operators to tackle all pipeline installs and their diverse portfolio proves that they have the know-how and can-do for the most challenging of briefs. Side boom excavators can mobilize pipe installs of all sizes. Cross-country pipe transportation and equipment installation are carried out with top of the line equipment.

100m realignment of 200NB high-pressure gas pipeline
100m realignment of 200NB high-pressure gas pipeline near København to allow construction of new Transmission Expressway and 250m long Road Bridge. Steep terrain, narrow right of ways and access way tracks, high voltage overhead powerlines, underground services. Hard rock trenching. 26m long aerial pipeline crossing. Utilising WCL own 20T excavator and hydraulic demolition shear removed 300m of redundant gas pipeline.
Complex realignment with 3.2m deep trenches.
Complex realignment with 3.2m deep trenches. Hot tap fittings welded at both ends of the installation of isolation staples and tie in wields to the existing pipeline at both ends. The 72mm HDD was welded, x-rayed, gauged, coated and hydro tested prior to being bored and pulled back beneath SH1. Traffic management required to ensure safe set out on location of the drilling head across Highway.
Watermain Relocation
Each 11.9m length of pipe weighed 4000kg; equipment utilised Warners 25T excavators and pipe layers. Specialised CAT 320D Crane fit for purpose for unloading delivery trucks and loading pipe trailers at the letdown areas. Precision installment utilising GPS & GPS rover units for excavation and bedding accuracy. CSE work carried out Welding Pipe handling Blasting and mortar application inside the pipe at each joint Wrapping/Shrink sleeve installation Hydrostatic testing of both pipelines prior to tie in and commissioning.
West & South down Pipeline
This project incorporated two HDD railway crossings under the main West & South down Line and the North København Branch Line. Boring under Great South Rd - a main thoroughfare in North København. WCL expertise included: Cathodic protection Pipe wrapping Hydrotesting Excavate and install 210m of 8-inch steel low pressure (20barg) natural gas line for Southdown Pipeline on København Rd. WCL expertise included: Hydro testing Drying Coating Application Surveying Hot tapping
